Security is a priority for us, so we’ve worked hard to design tools to help you maintain your privacy. Here's how to keep your devices, data, and Aisle Planner account secure, along with how to avoid phishing scams and how to control what you share and with whom.
Secure your account.
Setting a strong passcode is the most important thing you can do to safeguard your Aisle Planner account. For your security, your password must follow the following criteria:
At least 8 alpha-numerical characters in length
At least 1 character A through Z
At least 1 number 1 through 0
At least 1 special character
We recommend using a password that includes a combination of letters, numbers and symbols and never use a password you've used elsewhere. We also recommend that you keep your password secure and private, and never share your passwords or keep them in unsecured locations. The goal here is to protect your account and account data with a password that is tough to crack, and changing your password from time to time is also advised. If you ever have any reason to believe that your password has been compromised, you should change it right away.

Secure your account AND all your devices.
To keep your data and other personal information in your Aisle Planner account secure, anywhere you access your Aisle Planner account (such as your computer, laptop, and mobile devices) also needs to be secure. Here are a few ways to help prevent anyone but you from using your devices and accessing your information.
Turn on password protection for all of your devices.
Visiting your settings and setting password requirements for any devices that have been inactive for a reasonable amount of time is the most important thing you can do to safeguard your computer, laptop or mobile device, especially if you rely on your web browser's keychain to store your password to your Aisle Planner account. And of course, use a strong password to restrict access to your data if your device is lost or stolen - the more complex, the better.
Pay attention to notifications about your Aisle Planner account.
When you change your password, Aisle Planner notifies you with an email, so if you receive a notification from us about a password change that you don’t remember making, it could mean that someone has wrongfully accessed your account. If that happens, change your password immediately. If you need additional help, contact Aisle Planner support for assistance through the Messenger below or by email at customercare@aisleplanner.com.
Be aware of what you’re sharing.
Sharing certain information and access to your Aisle Planner account with your team or clients can make your business management and planning tools in Aisle Planner work even better. You have control over what you share and with whom. Your account includes a number of user-based privacy and permission settings that let you choose which data your team and clients can access, and what they have permission to edit. Even after you've granted access and permissions, you can revoke access and adjusting privacy and permission settings for each user at anytime. It’s important to know how your settings are currently configured and how you can easily manage them.
Beware of phishing.
“Phishing” refers to fraudulent attempts to get personal information from you, such as your Aisle Planner login, password or credit card information, usually by phone or through an email or text message. The request may appear to be from a legitimate company or individual, but it’s not. Aisle Planner will never contact you directly to ask for your account password or credit card information.
The best way to protect yourself against phishing schemes designed to trick you into revealing your Aisle Planner account credentials is to never provide your password, credit card or any other sensitive account information over the phone, email or text messages. If you receive what you believe to be a phishing email purporting to be from Aisle Planner, send it to customercare@aisleplanner.com.
