How to Download Tax Reports for Invoices Managed in Aisle Planner

If you use Aisle Planner's Invoicing feature, this feature will help make tax reporting a breeze. You can now download tax reports for invoices that have been paid in full and outstanding invoices managed in Aisle Planner.

To download your tax report, head on over to your Sales tab, and click on Invoices in the secondary navigation. From there, click on the Tax Reports and follow the prompts to download your tax report.


Important things you should know:

  • We'll report on each tax item that you have entered into any invoice in any given year.

  • For the most accurate tax reporting, your taxes must be titled/named exactly the same and have the same tax rate to be reported in the same tax column, so it's important to be sure that specific taxes are named/spelled the same and share the same tax rate % on all of your invoices to be included in the same column.

  • If you have inconsistencies in your tax names from invoice to invoice, you can retroactively update the tax names on your invoices to align and clean up your tax reports. If you DO make any updates to fully paid invoices, just be sure that you're publishing your changes on each invoice for the updates to be shown on future downloaded tax reports.

  • If you adjust or edit any invoices (whether it's adding items, adjusting item quantities, etc.) that have payments applied or are paid in full, always remember to publish your changes to set your revisions live. Please note that any invoice changes may impact your tax reports, and you may need to download your tax reports for the most accurate numbers.
