What’s New in Lead Record V1
✨ Updated Lead Record UI
Lead records now feature a refreshed, modern layout. The updated UI improves visual clarity and makes it easier to scan key information quickly.
You’ll notice:
Cleaner spacing and improved visual hierarchy
Better readability across sections
Consistent styling with other 2.0 tools
📝 Lead Notes
When accessing a Lead Record, you will now automatically be dropped into the leads Notes tab. This tab will give you visibility to any internal notes you have logged during your client calls as well as all custom information fields you capture for leads.
📞 New Lead Details Area
Every lead record now includes a Details section that remains visible across all tabs. This ensures essential context is always available, no matter where you’re working within the record.
The Details area includes:
Lead and project name
Lead status
Primary contact information
Service Type
Pertinent Event Information including guest count, budget, and event date
This update helps you stay oriented and move leads forward without switching tabs or searching for information.
🏃♀️ Activity Log Improvements
The Activity Log has been updated to provide clearer insight into everything happening within a lead record.
With Lead Record V1:
The Activity Log is now a dedicated tab within the lead record for quick at-a-glance updates on whats going on with the lead
Exact dates and times of the activity are shown instead of relative timestamps (for example, Nov 20, 2025 9:48am PST instead of 9 days ago)
These improvements make it faster to understand a lead’s history and stay aligned with your team.
✅ Sales Workflow (previously Lead Checklist)
We've updated the name of your leads Sales Workflow to more accurately identify the value of these tasks, not only during the sales process but also any sales related activities that may still be viable after a lead has converted to a client project. Same functionality, enhanced UI!
📧 Updated Email Tab (V1)
The Email tab has been refreshed with an updated layout that aligns with Aisle Planner’s 2.0 design standards. Core email functionality remains the same, but the improved UI creates a more consistent and user-friendly experience.
🗂️ Files Tab — Foundational Release
Lead Record V1 introduces the new Files tab, providing a dedicated home for Documents, Quotes, and Invoices tied to a lead or client.
In this initial release, you’ll benefit from:
A centralized location for all lead-related files
Organization by file type
Clear status visibility at a glance
Please note: While the Files tab is available in V1, the UI for individual documents, quotes, and invoices remains unchanged for now. Additional enhancements are planned for future releases.
⚙️ Updated Actions Menu
The Actions Menu has been updated to match Aisle Planner’s 2.0 design standards and is now consistent across all lead tabs.
From the Actions Menu, you can:
Add a New Workflow
Create a new email (AP-connected users only)
View all emails
Add a new file
Create a project
Mark a lead as lost
Delete a lead (when eligible)
This consistency makes it easier to take action quickly—no matter where you are in the lead record.
