Downloading an Invoice or Document as a PDF

Not only can you download an invoice or document as a PDF, these instructions apply to downloading Studio Shares, Quotes, and Notes as well!

Need to save an invoice or document (or something else) as a PDF? Whether you are logged into your Aisle Planner account or viewing the file from an email you received, the steps are virtually the same and easy to do!

Download an Invoice or Document While Logged-in to your Aisle Planner Account

Simply click into the document or invoice you wish to save or download and then click on the gold export button that you see towards the top right of your browser window.

From there, select the Preview and Print option, which will open a preview of your document or invoice.  Along the bottom of your browser window, click Print on the right side of the gold bar. Then, use your web browser's print menu to save the invoice as a PDF.  

Every browser supports downloading to a PDF file; however, the directions are slightly different for each browser. At the bottom of this article, we outline specific browser instructions.

Download an Invoice or Document from an Email Link

First, you will want to click to view the invoice or document that was sent to you via email. Along the bottom of your browser window, click Print on the right side of the gold bar. Then, use your web browser's print menu to save the document as a PDF.

As mentioned, every browser supports downloading to a PDF file. The directions are slightly different for each browser, so below you will see browser-specific instructions on how to save to PDF depending on browser and operating system.

For Mac:

If You're Using Chrome
From the chrome print menu that appears, click Open PDF in preview in lower left corner.

If You're Using Firefox
From the Firefox print menu that appears, click PDF dropdown and select Open PDF in Preview or Save as PDF.

If You're Using Safari
From the Safari print menu that appears, click PDF dropdown and select Open PDF in Preview or Save as PDF.

For PCs:

If You’re Using Safari
From the print menu that appears, click on the dropdown menu next to PDF and select SAVE AS PDF.

If You're Using Firefox
On the print modal that appears, click the drop down menu on the ‘Printer’ line and choose ‘Print to PDF’. Select a location for the PDF file to be saved.

If You're Using Chrome
From the print menu that appears, in the Destination area, click CHANGE, then under ‘Local Destinations’, click ‘Save as PDF’

If You're Using Internet Explorer or EDGE (not recommended):
From the print menu that appears, click ‘Microsoft Print to PDF’ and then PRINT. A ‘Save print output as’ menu will appear, where you can name and select where to save the PDF.
