Our note templates feature allows you to create templates of your most used Notes as well as documents that have been living somewhere else on your computer. From welcome notes to design questionnaires and song list worksheets to floral requests for proposals and ceremony details β create as many note templates as you want and then easily import them into any event or project.
But before we dive into creating those note templates, let's get you familiar with our note template index. Once you understand the lay of the land, creating your note templates will so much easier to navigate!

How to Organize Your Note Templates
Note Template Folders are a great way to keep all of your note and shortcut templates organized. You can create as many folders as you need, and we require that you create at least one folder before you can create your first note template.
Creating a new note template folder
From the note template index page, which you'll find in your business settings, click on the black ADD NEW FOLDER button, located toward the top right of your note template index page.
Give your Folder a name. Not sure what to name it? Try "My Note Templates" to get you started. You can always rename your folders and create new folders as you go.
Once you've created your folder, click on the ADD A TEMPLATE option below the folder you want to create the template in.
Renaming a note template folder
To rename an existing note template folder, just click on any folder name to edit.

To reorder your note templates within a folder, drag and drop your notes to set them in place. You can also drag and drop to move note templates from one note template folder to another.
How to Create Note Templates
To create a new template, head on over to your note template index, which you can find in your Business Settings. From there:
Locate the folder you'd like to add the note template it, and click on the gold ADD A TEMPLATE link below that folder.
Follow the prompts to choose the type of note template you'd like to create. You have two options - you can create a shortcut as a template or a note from scratch.
If you choose the shortcut option, continue to follow the prompts to name your shortcut, drop in the URL for your shortcut, set client restrictions as needed and add an optional cover image.
If you choose the note option, continue to follow the prompts to name your note, set client restrictions as needed and add an optional cover image. From there, you'll be dropped into the note editor to add your content.

Additional Options from the Note Template Index
If you hover over any note or shortcut template on your note template index, you'll notice a 3-dot more menu. You can click this "more" menu to access many options for taking action from your template index.
