Simple Seating: A Guide for Couples

We might not know the history behind why your second cousin can’t sit next to your college roommate, but we can make the seating process stress-free. Simple Seating allows you and your clients to manage table lists, assign guests, and make instant updates to keep the planning process on track.

💡 Things to Know

Before you begin, ensure your Guest List is synced. A synced list is required to assign seats and generate downloadable reports.

Key Features

  • Multiple Seating Methods: You can seat from your guest list from both the Layout page or Seating page. Be sure the correct list is synced with your layout first.

  • Customizable Table Lists Giving your tables unique names like favorite travel spots or jazz artists? Click any table number to rename it. You can also use the +/- buttons at the bottom of each list to adjust the seat count instantly.

  • Streamlined Assignments View all guests—confirmed or pending—in one central list. To make navigation even easier, we automatically highlight "Special Guests," such as the couple, the wedding party, and immediate family.

  • Effortless Drag-and-Drop Moving guests is as easy as it sounds. Simply click and drag a guest to a new table, or rearrange the seating order within a specific table list.

  • Accessibility & Special Needs Keep track of the details that matter. Simple Seating displays relevant icons for guests requiring highchairs or wheelchair access, ensuring your floor plan is as functional as it is beautiful.

  • Comprehensive Seating Reports Exporting your data is a breeze. Our updated Guest List downloads now include table assignments, while the Seating List download provides a per-table breakdown of guests, meal counts, and special requirements.
