Written by Kimberly Wallace

Built for collaboration, Aisle Planner Pro lets you invite unlimited team members, assign project visibility, and tailor permissions to suit every role. Check out the video below for a quick guide on setting up your team!

Step 1: Add a Team Member & Select Their User Type

  • Click into the Settings icon ⚙️ top-right corner and go to the TEAM tab.

  • Click on the golde Invite Member button.

  • 👤 Standard Users

    • Access to assigned projects, assigned lead records, and client records within those projects.

    • Access to their Primary Calendar (filtered to relevant events) and the company Contact Library.

  • 🛡️ Super Users

    • Access to assigned projects, full Lead Manager, client records, filtered Primary Calendar, and Contact Library.

    • Ability to manage company templates in Settings.

  • 🔑 Admins

    • Full access to assigned projects and all main navigation tabs (Sales, Projects, Calendar, Contacts).

    • Note: Cannot access Subscription & Billing or Banking (Account Owner only).

  • 📊 Bookkeepers

    • Read-only access to invoices, transaction records, and financial reports.

    • Ability to issue refunds via Wedpay (US businesses). (Can be granted project access if needed).

👥 Enabling AP Connect for Your Team

Once you’ve added a new team member to your account, you’ll need to grant them AP Connect access so they can link their email, calendar, and use the Scheduling Assistant. If the user's role includes Sales, this is highly recommended:

  1. Click your name in the upper right corner and select Subscription & Billing.

  2. Locate your team member and toggle on their AP Connect access.

  3. Once enabled, your teammate can log into their own profile and complete their self-integration!

Quickly Adding Team Members to Projects

How to Assign Projects:

  • Add Access: Click PROJECTS beneath a team member's name and check the projects they should see.

  • Remove Access: Uncheck any project from that same menu to instantly revoke access.

  • You can also add Teammate under Planning Partners of each individual project.

⚙️ Fine-Tuning Granular Permissions

Selecting a User Type gives you a fast shortcut with pre-set permissions, but you can also fine-tune privacy and permission settings for each pro user individually.

Customize exact tool access—such as read/write capabilities for budgets, invoices, checklists, or client files—to match each team member's specific workflow!

Resending An Invitation To Join Your Account

Need to resend the invitation to a pro user who has not yet accepted their invitation? Return to the Team menu in Settings and click on the gold Resend Invite link beneath that user's name. Double check that you have the correct email, then click Send Invite.

You can also share their unique invitation link that they can use to create their adjoining account.  Just click on the gold Show Invite Link beneath the user's name, copy the link and share as needed.

Note: If the Resend Invite or Show Invite Link doesn't appear, it's because they've already accepted their invitation and created their adjoining account.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  1. Cannot Find the Invite Option:

    • Ensure your screen is fully maximized, as the "Invite Members" button is typically located at the top left of the Team page.

    • Verify that you have the necessary permissions (account owner or administrator) to add team members.

    • Refresh your browser or clear your cache if the button is still not visible.

Removing Pro Users From Your Account

  1. Go to Settings ⚙️ (in the top right).

  2. Got to the Team tab and hover your mouse over the team member's name you wish to remove.

  3. Click the gold trash can icon 🗑️ that appears.

⚠️ Project Lead Reassignment: If the removed user is listed as the Project Lead on any active projects (and you haven't assigned a new lead yet), those projects will automatically be reassigned to the Company Owner.

FAQs: Team Member Access

Is there an added cost for enabling team members?

No—all subscription plans include at least two integration seats by default. If you need to add additional team seats beyond what is included in your plan, extra seats are available for a small monthly fee.

Where do I manage AP Connect access for team members?

Account Owners manage AP Connect access via Subscription & Billing (click your name in the top right corner). Once enabled there by the owner, team members can complete their personal integration under Settings → Integrations.
