To save any layout within one of your projects as a template, head on over to that particular layout and follow the steps below:
This process is part of a broader template management system that may require proper permissions to ensure seamless functionality.
Click on the gold Actions button toward the top right of your screen
Select the Save As Template option
Select the venue folder you'd like to save this template in and you're done!
If there aren't any existing venue folders, you'll need to select the Add New Venue option, and follow the prompts to name your new venue folder - once you've added your venue, select that venue to save this template in and you're all set.
If these steps do not work as expected, ensure that you have the necessary permissions set by your organization owner and verify that you are logged into the correct account.
Pro tip: Don't forget to visit this new template you've just created in your Business Settings, where you can fine tune your layout template and add a description and any keywords to help you find this layout when adding this layout template to a project.
If your template does not appear properly, double-check that it was saved in the correct venue folder and refresh your screen. If issues persist, verify your account settings or contact customer support.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Saved Layout Template Not Showing in the Venue Bar
If a saved layout template does not appear in the venue bar, follow these steps:
Ensure the layout template was saved in the correct project.
Navigate to the project with the desired layout and click the appropriate action menu (e.g., 'Save as Template').
Go to the 'Templates' section and select 'Layouts' to confirm the template is saved.
Refresh your screen and check again if the template is not visible in other projects. If the issue persists, verify that you are logged into the correct account and review the saving steps.
Pro tip: You can also use our Copy & Paste keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste objects (or entire layouts) from one layout into another.
Simply select all (or just select the elements you'd like to copy), then copy and paste it into another layout or layout template
For Our Apple/Mac Users

Paste = command + v
For Team Microsoft
